Ski Season Comes to a Close as we Head into Summer
As the spring approaches, Breakaway has closed its ski slopes for the season. After completing construction of the new ski runs in December of last year, the new slopes opened in January to rave reviews. The new ski runs brought with them our first release of ski-in/ski-out and slope-side homesites. These homesites sold out so fast that we had to release more to meet the demand. Only one slope-side lot remains. If you have interest in the last chance to purchase a slope-side homesite at this year's pricing, contact 828.689.2020. Watch for news about the new ski runs and ski-in ski-out homesites we will be adding throughtout the year. The ski slopes will open again for next year's ski season in November. Construction Ramps up as the Weather Turns Warm
As the first few homes in Breakaway are being finished, we have a number of new houses scheduled to start construction. Two new homes will start construction in March, with an additional three scheduled for April. We have more than ten homes scheduled to start and be finished this year so far. Nine of these homes are also slated for the Breakaway Cottage Rental Program.

 


Live/Works Coming to Breakaway Village this Summer
Breakaway has a limited number of Live/Work lots scheduled for release this summer. These unique lots offer the opportunity for an owner to own a business in Breakaway Village, with a residenence above. The business and/or the residence can also be rented out. The first two Live/Works in Breakaway have been designed and are scheduled to start construction this summer. Beginning May 1st, Breakaway will offer a limited number of these lots for sale. Granite Cobblestone Streets Being Installed in Breakaway Village
Construction crews began installing granite cobblestone streets, granite curbing, and brick paver sidewalks in Breakaway Village this week. Complimenting the high quality standards found throughout Breakaway, granite cobblestones are being trucked to the community weekly to build authentic cobblestone streets. These roads will compliment the granite curbing and brick paver sidewalks, which we began installing last month. We believe that the substantial investment in these materials, will add to the authenticity and overall value at Breakaway. Through the course of this year, all of the roads in the village center will be completed, adding one more element to the authentic mountain village atmosphere at Breakaway.

For a limited time, Breakaway is offereing preconstruction pricing on Combo Home and Guest Home Sites. These unique lots offer the owner the opportunity to build a guest house and a main home on the same homesite.
